Game Chef has begun and well, I'm a little disappointed.
The ingredients are as follows
Group A: MEMORY, DRUG, PALACE, CURRENCY
Group B: SACRED, ROSE, THREAD, INCONSISTENCY
You select THREE from EITHER Group A or Group B.
Additionally there are no other set themes or restrictions.
You see, it's the last bit thats disappointing. In an open competition how can having an open competition be a parameter?
ANYWAY, that slight gripe aside, I now have until April 1st to realise a fully playable RPG based on this little lot. I'm leaning towards Grp A rather than Grp B but I really haven't given it that much deep pondering yet.
More later..

Hmmmm...good luck. That's just surreal.
The first thing I thought of was a game like the movie Momento, but I think that may have already been done.
Those options are very...odd.
Ian.
You could do an interesting Cyberpunk style game from Memory, Drug and Currency.
Dealers sell designer memories, memories of things that people want to do but can't or daren't. Sex with people, murder, whatever. Maybe some are legal, like Sky Diving and that sort, while theres a black market for the "darker" stuff, like rape and murder. Maybe the desire among the rich for these experiences is so great, that they are now used as currency among those that don't have jobs, or whatever.
Interesting idea I think.
